itel has been trying to boost its name in the Kenya space. It has since rebooted its brand with a new strategy, which encompasses functions such as making an appearance in the home entertainment segment.
To keep its spirit ever burning, itel decided to renew the S15 line from 2019 with the all new S16 series. The new lineup comprises two devices: the normal S16 that we have looked at, and the S16 Pro model that is even more appealing to customers that have a limited budget, but want their devices to carry some punch.
Some notable spec bumps have been made in the S16 Pro: the S16 sibling is limited to a gig of RAM and 16 GB of storage. That aside, all run Android 10 Go Edition that should be light on resources. We expect the device to be serviceable in the least, which is what the majority of itel’s target customers are looking for.
