Realme, the Chinese smartphone company entered the Kenyan market in a big way this year. They launched a number of smartphones which include the realme 7i and now they have a special bundle for it this festive season.
The company has said that during this festive season, every purchase of the Realme 7i will come with free Buds Q. The Realme Buds Q are true wireless earbuds that retail for Kshs 4,000 so this feels like a pretty good value for the realme7i which retails for around KES 25,000.
The Realme 7i is a pretty interesting smartphone on its price bracket and we reviewed it recently. It has a 6.5 inch 720p display with a 90hz refresh rate. That 90hz refresh rate is its defining feature and it shows how quickly the tech is pilfering down the stack.
It is not down on power. It runs the Snapdragon 662 which is a capable midrange chip with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM. Storage options include either 64GB or 128GB of storage which is the fast UFS 2.1 kind.
The phone also has a standard set of cameras. At the back, it has a quad setup comprising of the main 64MP sensor paired with an 8MP ultra wide camera and two 2MP cameras that are for macro photography and depth perception respectively. the selfie camera is a single 16MP unit which is pretty standard at this price range.
Since the phone has a 90hz refresh rate, realme stuffed a 5000mAh battery on this bad boy which can be charged quickly with its 18W charger.
