Realme has announced that it will unveil a new smartphone during its 828 Fan Festival tomorrow. The device has drawn attention for two key features: a massive 10,000 mAh battery and an integrated cooling fan.
The company recently released a short teaser video that highlighted a small vent grille on the phone’s frame. They claim that the cooling system can reduce the device’s temperature by up to 6°C.
Demonstrations in the teaser showed the fan producing enough airflow to extinguish a candle and push lightweight objects, suggesting that the mechanism is more than cosmetic.
Battery capacity has been a central focus in early reports. While Realme has confirmed the use of a 10,000 mAh unit, some sources have also mentioned the possibility of a 15,000 mAh variant, which could still be in a prototype phase.
A battery of this scale would represent a significant increase compared to the capacities typically found in current smartphones. Realme has suggested that the larger battery option could support up to 50 hours of video playback or more than 18 hours of continuous video recording.
In terms of design, the device appears to share similarities with the Realme GT 7T, featuring a curved back panel, a metallic frame, and a square-shaped camera module.
The addition of a visible vent for the fan, however, gives the phone a distinct appearance compared to previous models.
Realme has previously showcased concept devices with high-capacity batteries and high charging speeds, signalling its strategy towards power endurance as an advantage in a very competitive industry.
The inclusion of an active cooling system implies the company is also addressing performance management, especially for users engaged in gaming and extended media consumption.
At this stage, it remains unclear whether the phone will be released commercially or presented solely as a concept. The 828 Fan Festival is expected to provide further clarification on the device’s specifications, availability, and positioning within Realme’s product portfolio.
