The Samsung Galaxy S21 (or what Samsung will call it) will have stylus support as shown from official documents by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission).

As spotted by Android Authority, a Samsung Galaxy S21 model (model number SMG998B) has passed by the FCC and the filing shows it supports the S Pen.

“The EUT (Equipment Under Test) can also be used with a stylus device (S-OEB). The EUT operates in two different inductive coupling modes of S-PEN motion detection (Hover and Click) operating in the range of 0.53 – 0.6Mhz. The UT was set to continuously transmit to the S-PEN in each of the two modes,” it says on the document.

This is not a surprise since the President of Samsung Mobile implied the addition of these features from the note line of smartphones. “We’ve also been paying attention to people’s favorite aspects of the Galaxy Note experience and are excited to add some of its most well-loved features to other devices in our lineup,” TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile Communications Business at Samsung electronics said

.The Note line in Samsung’s portfolio has always been known for its stylus trotting capabilities and Samsung’s decision to add this to their flagship S line is quite interesting. Does this mean that the Note line is dead? We will never know and it seems 2021 will be a very interesting year to look out for on Samsung’s camp.
