OPPO Reno6 5G To Launch in Kenya on September 6th

OPPO Reno6 5G will soon be launching in the country to succeed the OPPO Reno5 series that was launched in early March this year. The OPPO Reno 5G will be the company’s first 5G smartphone in the country and brings a lot of new and improved features over its predecessor.

We have a new and faster Dimensity 900 chip paired with Mali G78 GPU powering the OPPO Reno 6 5G.

The smartphone has a 6.43″ AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

OPPO Reno6 5G comes running Android 11 and ColorOS 11.3. The phone is scheduled to get updated to Android 12 once it goes public later next month.

OPPO Reno6 5G will have 8GB of RAM and 128Gb of onboard storage.

For optics, we have a 64MP triple camera setup that features an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lens. We also have a 32MP punch-hole selfie camera.

OPPO is also bringing new camera modes and features to play around with including Bokeh Flare Portrait, improved AI Highlight Video, AI Color Portrait among others.

OPPO Reno6 5G will also have the Reno Glow design and come in shimmering Aurora or stealthy Stellar Black colours. The phone will be pretty slim and light at 182grams.

OPPO Reno5 5G will have a 4300mAh battery and support 65W fast type-C charging.

Launch Date

According to the company’s social media pages, the OPPO Reno6 5G is set to launch on September 6th. That’s two weeks from now.
