TECNO is now shifting its focus from its midrange and premium lineup to soon launch the Spark 10 Series. TECNO has this year launched the Phantom X2 series and the Phantom V Fold and we’ll be getting the TECNO Spark 10 in the country soon.
TECNO launched its Spark 9 series early last year together with their camera-centric Camon 19 series. They later launched the Spark 9 Pro which was a huge improvement over the Spark 8 series from last year in terms of cameras and overall performance. They also launched a Sports Edition which featured features blue and white colours in an icy crystal design.
The TECNO Spark 10 series feature a peculiar camera island design synonymous with the iPhone cameras in the triple setup. It’s a 50MP triple array that includes a 2MP depth sensor and VGA camera.
It gets to keep the 32MP front-facing camera of its predecessors.
TECNO Spark 10 gets an upgraded processor – from the Helio G85 to G88. RAM starts at 8GB with an additional virtual 8GB RAM with storage options between 128GB and 256GB.
It’ll come with Android 12 and HiOS 8.6 come baked in.
TECNO increased the display size from 6.6″ to 6.8″. Resolution and refresh rate stays the same as its predecessors at 1080p with a 90Hz refresh rate.
TECNO packs an 18W power brick, Type-c cable and earphones in the box together with a case, pin and more.
Pricing is expected to start from Ksh 22,000 for the Pro model.
