Co-op Bank Services to Suffer Limitations Today

Co-operative Bank of Kenya (Co-op Bank) reminds all its customers to carry out banking transactions before 3:00 pm.

The local Kenyan Bank is migrating to a new banking system. As a result, there will be some services that will be affected.

First, all branches will close by 3:00 pm today. Secondly, Co-op Bank has indicated via social media that customers should expect limitations to ATMs services.

The bank’s mobile banking platform MCo-opCash will also face limitations. Additionally, Co-op Kwa Jirani and Card transactions at POS may face service limitations.

The bank has stated this is a necessary step to improve its service delivery.

Lastly, the bank urges its customers to be wary of fraudsters who may take advantage of the situation to collect personal information
