Oraimo AirBuds 4 Review

Looking for affordable and feature-rich wireless earbuds is hard but the just-launched Oraimo AirBuds 4 manages to balance that.

Oraimo AirBuds 4 are surprisingly lightweight but sturdy wireless earbuds that dish impactful deep bass tones with its HavyBass™ tech feature to pump this up further. They plate up a solid listening experience for listeners of any musical genre as well.

Besides the great sound quality, the earbuds are comfortable, have long-lasting battery life, stable connection and dependable environmental noise cancellation giving you value for money – you get an even bigger discount with this code when you buy with this link.

@techweez

Oarimo makes the best-value consumer products. The new Airbuds 4 earbuds embody that as they stand out with their excellent sound featuring heavy bass, lightweight design, passive noise cancellation(ENC), long battery life, quick Type-C charging and the case design with an LED screen that displays the battery level of both earbuds and the case itself. It also has an IPX4 waterproof and sweat protection and is comfortable enough to use for long periods even working out thanks to its tight snug fit inside your ears. Our full review is up on our YouTube channel – link in bio. They go for Ksh 2100. #Oraimo #OraimoAirbuds4 #TWS

The Airbuds 4 sit just above the Oraimo FreePods Lite but below the FreePods 4. Before we begin the review, here’s what to expect from the luminous green and black box the earbuds come in.

.
  • Three pairs of antibacterial ear tips
  • A pair of earbuds
  • Welcome Guide
  • Charging case with Type-C charging port
  • Type-C charging cable

As usual, you need to download the Oraimo sound app for Android and iPhone from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store respectively. The Airbuds 4 quickly connect when you pop up the case which has an interesting design.

TL;DR: The Oraimo AirBuds 4 is the best affordable premium wireless earbuds you can buy right now. It’s feature-packed which justifies its price tag and a rock-solid all-rounder for not just listening to music but also podcasts and calls as well.

DESIGN

The Airbuds 4 has a black case with a translucent top and an LED display. The LED display shows the battery levels of the case and the earbuds. The case provides an additional 31 hours of playtime when they charge the earbuds when they run out of battery.

Oraimo AirBuds 4 Case

The charging case has a Type-C port powered by Oraimo’s AniFast™ Fast Charging, meaning a 10-minute charge will give you an extra 90 minutes of playtime.

The display is pretty handy as you get to see a visual representation of how much charge is left in each earbud and case as a percentage when you put them back after use or before you head out. This helps you decide if you want to top up the charge quickly or not before and after you use the earbuds.

When you first open the case, the buds are tucked neatly inside and you’ll have to remove the protective film so that they enter the pairing mode.

The earbuds are beautiful, light small and stemless and fit snugly in your ears. The buds have dual microphones and a touch-sensitive panel that you can tap either for preset music control or volume control. The touch panels like the rest of Oraimo’s earbuds are consistent and responsive especially when you’re out and about and don’t want to pull out your phone.

The buds are comfy even when worn for long periods and they have an impressive battery life which we’ll talk more about below. The buds have an IPX4 waterproof and sweat protection – perfect for gym workouts or a quick run/walk in the drizzle.

SOUND QUALITY

Right off the bat, the Airbuds 4 deliver precise and poised sound as mentioned above. They have 6mm premium composite diaphragm drivers that give detailed and clear mids with more emphasis on bass frequencies plus still preserving vocals and instrumentals so you get to enjoy any music genre, be it rock, jazz, phonk, pop and acoustic.

Listening to music with the earbuds was a pleasant experience. I really enjoyed bopping to Taylor Swift’s the Tortured Poets Department, my EDM remixes playlist and acoustic collection.

Podcasts and motivational soundtracks also sounded really good with the AirBuds 4.

Oraimo AirBuds 4 Sound App

The Oraimo sound app allows you to calibrate the EQ settings to your preference to get the best possible sound with the equalizer. A neat Low-latency Game Mode also lets audio and video sync.

They come with ENC(environment noise cancellation) technology which features an AI algorithm and an advanced built-in 2-mic beamforming array that fades background noise during calls. This suppresses background noises and your voice is more clear on calls.

The earbuds have a 10m Bluetooth range and support Bluetooth 5.3 standard. the connection was really solid between my phone and my laptop and breakups were rare.

BATTERY LIFE

The battery life performance of AirBuds 4 was untouchable. you get on average 7 hours of playtime on a single charge and the case adds 31 hours of extended playtime. They easily lasted me through a week of general use which is a real highlight of the earbuds and that should be plenty for most people.

VERDICT

The Oraimo AirBuds 4 deliver on all aspects of what you’d expect on wireless earbuds – great comfort, massive battery life, excellent wireless connection, deep bass, and very good environmental noise cancellation.

They balance style and function in a refreshing design and you don’t have to spend a fortune to purchase them. All in all, the Airbuds 4 should be on your shortlist.

The AirBuds 4 are the best wireless earbuds in the 2K price point right now.
