Vivo announced the official launch of its new budget smartphone this week, the Y28 in Kenya which is the latest addition to the brand’s Y-series.
The Vivo Y28 comes with a huge 6,000mAh battery which you could say is its biggest selling point. This allows users to own a phone with an impressive battery life. The power pack also supports 44W fast charging via the phone’s USB-C port.
The smartphone also comes with a 7.99 mm body surrounded by a metallic glossy frame and a rear double-camera module that houses a 50MP main shooter. The 6.56-inch display packs an 8MP front-facing camera.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. For storage, the phone retails in two options, 128GB and 256GB. Other features include a 90Hz maximum refresh rate, dual stereo speakers with a 300% audio booster and 4-year battery health.

The phone sells at select stores KES22,999 for the 128GB version and KES25,999 for the 256GB version.
