Infinix has been busy over the last few months and it seems like the Kenyan market is about to benefit from these efforts as the company unveils its new budget series that consists of Hot 50 Pro, Hot 50 Pro+ and Hot 50i smartphones.
The Infinix Hot 50 series is what many would call a budget-friendly smartphone but one whose design would stand out alot among devices of even higher price segments.
The phone comes in an impressively slim 7.88mm thick frame with a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display sitting on top. Users will be able to enjoy up to 120Hz refresh rate with this device. As for performance, the device relies on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with 4GB and 8GB RAM being the available options.
The rear camera module carries a 48MP main shooter with the display having an 8MP selfie camera. Under the hood also lies a 5000mAh battery with 18W charging.
Meanwhile, the Hot 50i comes with very similar specs while still offering something different. While the general design resembles the Hot 50, the Hot 50i is powered by a Helio G81 chipset paired with 4GB RAM that is expandable to 8GB. It’s available at a cost of KES. 13,699.
Generally, the Hot 50i is set to be a more affordable option in the series so it’s up to what model you would prefer.
