Airtel Money and Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) have rolled out a new mobile money integration that allows customers to make direct payments to DTB Till Moja merchants using their Airtel Money wallets.
The update also enables instant deposits from Airtel Money into DTB bank accounts, significantly reducing the need for physical banking visits.
With the new system in place, Airtel Money users can now:
- Pay DTB Till Moja merchants directly from their mobile wallets
- Deposit funds from Airtel Money into any DTB account
- Complete transactions via the Airtel Money app or the *334# USSD code
To encourage adoption, Airtel Money is also offering a 50% guaranteed cashback as airtime on Paybill payments, which helps reduce transaction costs for regular users.
Small and medium-sized enterprises stand to benefit the most from this integration. DTB Till Moja merchants can now receive payments from Airtel Money users seamlessly, expanding their customer reach beyond bank-only clients.
