Reports quickly spread across social media and tech forums from users who were locked out of ongoing conversations or unable to submit prompts, receiving repeated error messages instead. For others, the platform would not load at all.
Anthropic has not yet explained what went wrong, though outages like this are usually down to servers being pushed too hard, technical faults, or routine maintenance that didn’t go to plan.
