Safaricom opens pre-orders for Galaxy S5; to go for just Ksh 74,999

The long awaited Galaxy S5 pre-orders through Safaricom are now open.

Coming hours after rivals Airtel announced their pre-order, Safaricom’s deal involves the network operator giving you the Galaxy S5, the Gear Fit and 3 GB of data at just Ksh 74,999.

This is a huge contrast to the Ksh 89,999 that Airtel will be charging those who’ll pre-order the device through it. It is still a better deal even when you factor in the Ksh 5,000 discount Airtel will be giving those who pre-order the device and pay via Airtel Money.

The Galaxy S5 will be officially unveiled in the Kenyan market on the 11th of April, the day it rolls out in most global markets too.
