Nokia has already teased that they will have an announcement to make during this year’s Microsoft Build event starting today. We are now beyond rumours as we are just hours before the announcement that we’ve waited for for the last few weeks. Nokia is expected to announce the Lumia 930 which is touted to be the global variant of the much awesome Lumia 929 icon that is a Verizon exclusive. Kinda like a dipstick.
Now something interesting has come up, the renders that actually look like the proper thing are out thanks to the usual culprit EVLeaks and they look good. The Lumia 930 is one device that has the looks and internals that you would take home to your mum. As was mentioned by Nokia SVP Smart Devices Product Marketing Hans Henrick, this is something worth the wait. The metallic strip on the side and the Lumia Icon design that has killer looks comes to the Lumia 930.
It’s expected that the device will carry the internals of the Icon with it making it one of the great blends in Windows Phone. Colours here are White, Black, Orange and Green unlike the Icon that comes in only black and white. here is pureview branding in the back which is unibody.
Lumia 630 is also another device expected to show up, and above is the render leaked just a few minutes ago by the same source. Design language seems to be consistent with recent announcements like the Nokia X and this makes it look like a removable back smartphone. Colours are Bright Green, Bright Orange, Yellow, White and Black. Two things that are quite easy to notice here is the absence of a flash and dedicated camera button on the side. It does look swanky too though cannot match the 930. We will be alert to see what Nokia announces within the next few hours and will surely update you as soon as we catch it.
Meanwhile, do you like what you see in the two phones? Hit us up in the comments.
