Telkom Kenya Offers More Data to Holla Plus and Holla Premium Subscribers

It was only five months ago when Telkom Kenya (then Orange) slashed the call rates on the Holla by approximately 50-percent. This was after the bundle was introduced back in 2012 as a move to lure in young subscribers to the network.

Yesterday, the company announced that they had increased the data bundle offering that comes with the Holla Plus and Holla Premium subscription. Holla Plus subscribers will enjoy free Telkom-to-Telkom calls, free SMS to any network, calls to other networks are charged Ksh.1.8 per minute and the data offering has been increased from 20MB to 5OMB.

Holla Premium subscribers will enjoy the same free on-net calls, free cross-network SMS and Ksh.1.8 per minute for off-net calls. Premium subscribers will now enjoy 200MB of data with the bundle, up from the previous 100MB. Holla Premium also has a validity of 72 hours compared to the 24 hours validity on the Holla Plus bundle.

This offer is available until 31 October 2017.

To subscribe to either Holla Plus Bundle or Holla Premium, dial *10# on your Telkom line. Holla Plus bundle will cost you Ksh.19 every day and Holla Premium will cost you Ksh.49 every 3 days.

The Holla Bundles come with an automated renewal feature for ease of planning for Telkom customers, with the option of deactivation by dialling *11#.
