Infinix-Hot-S3

Infinix-Hot-S3After the longest delay, we have seen yet, the Infinix Hot S3 has finally been unveiled in Kenya. The smartphone, which has been available in other markets for months now, was today made available to the masses through a partnership with Safaricom.

The Hot S3, which comes equipped with a modern-style 18:9, 720p, 5.7-inch display, also features a Snapdragon 430 processor, a 4000mAh battery capable of fast charging, Android Oreo out-of-the-box and the much-hyped face unlock. The major highlights of the phone, however, are the cameras – especially the selfie shooter.

“300 million photos on Instagram have been tagged with the selfie label. The powerful selfie camera on this device guarantees you a perfect selfie, no matter how poor the light condition is. This smartphone is meant for the young and tech-savvy people, who want to share their lives and style with the world. They will get the most of everything to share their stories,” said Infinix Brand Manager, Mr Zhang.

The Hot S3 boasts of a 13MP 88-degree wide-angle lens on the back and a 20MP lens in the front for those selfies. Infinix says that the S3 has been made specifically with the ability to capture low-light selfies with its f/2.0 aperture, dual LED flash with three brightness levels and what the company calls, “4 in 1 big pixel” – Which enlarges the pixel size by combining four adjacent pixels into one for better light intake.

Priced at Kes.18,999. The device will be available at all Safaricom Shops and select Safaricom dealer outlets countrywide.

You know what that means? No Dual SIM support, but at least we have 4G support. Now vent below ↓

    • Their reasoning pisses me off. I may be having two Saf SIMs, and that should not force me to get another device.
