Safaricom has a variety of products, and it continues to augment that portfolio with additional services to make those offerings as attractive and competitive as possible as the market is filled to the brim with active rivals. Of course, the carrier knows that, hence it has to be super creative and innovative to have an edge over the competition, which is why it launched the Safaricom Affiliate Marketing Pilot.
The scheme was launched a couple of weeks ago for select customers but has since been rolled out to all Safaricom subscribers. Generally speaking, the scheme is out here to give Safaricom Prepay customers an opportunity to be awarded airtime if they recommend All in One Monthly Bundle and Home Fibre Packages to their friends and family members. Upon recommendation, the customers (recommenders) are then awarded airtime if their recipients follow the link on the SMS recommending them to the bundle, and proceed to purchase the bundles.
As mentioned, only prepay customers are eligible for the promotion.
To take part, all you have to do is dial *544#, select 1 or 4 and choose earn extra airtime after which you input the number of your friend or family member you wish to recommend to. Afterward, they will receive a message showing the bundle, its price and how to buy the product (bundle or Home package). However, it should be noted that you to have to be a Home Fibre subscriber to have access to fibre recommendation as it does not appear on the access code and its package identifier.

Once a family member of friend purchases the bundle recommended within 48 hours, you will be awarded resources as indicated in the charts above. The resources are valid for 90 days.
