vivo Kenya has announced that its new V19 smartphone will not be available for sale in Kenya on 8th July 2020 as previously projected.
The company has now said that they are pulling off efforts and they will have the device available on 14th July 2020 where they will announce its availability locally.
vivo says despite the delay, you can still pre-order the device to enjoy the exclusive deal that comes with it.
The vivo V19 was launched in Kenya last month. It is a premium midranger smartphone with a lot of pretty cool features. It has a 6.44 inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with a dual selfie camera cutout. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner. It runs on the Snapdragon 712 upper midrange processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The V19 has a lot of cameras. At the front we have a dual selfie camera system comprising of a 32MP and an 8MP camera. These support what they call “super wide angle” selfies and “super night” selfies which means they are great to take wide angle selfies and selfies in lower light conditions.
The back features a total of 4 cameras: A main 48MP camera with an aperture of f/1.79, an ultrawide 8MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and two 2MP sensors where one is for depth sensing and another one is used for macro photography.
The phone ships with a relatively huge 4,500mAh battery which promises great battery life and also features vivo FlashCharge 2.0 that delivers 33W of power. vivo claims that this battery charging technology charges from 0-54% in just 30 minutes.
