vivo has been making moves in Kenya with phones packing features and value for money. They recently launched the vivo V19 and they are now set to launch the vivo Y30.
The Y series is focussed on the youth and brings with it the latest photography innovations to many younger consumers.
vivo Y30 packs a 6.47″ punch-hole display that the company calls “Ultra O screen surrounded by thin bezels and an acceptable chin.
The back features an AI quad-camera setup, a fingerprint sensor, and vivo branding at the bottom.
It’s a plastic build with an eye-catching design and comes in either Dazzle Blue or Moonstone White.
The Ulta-O screen comes with a resolution of 720 by 1560 pixels and an 82.9% screen to body ratio.
For optics, you get a 13MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth. Videos are recorded in 1080p at 30fps.
Selfies are taken by the 8MP front-facing punch-hole camera.
Running the device is Helio P35 processor, PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. vivo Y30 comes with Android 10 and Funtouch 10 too.
Powering the device is a 5000mAh battery that comes with 10W fast charging through a Type-C port.
