UPDATE: TECNO Spark 7P has officially been launched in the country. Here are more details including pricing and availability.
TECNO Spark 7P will soon be hitting the Kenyan market. This will be TECNO‘s latest budget smartphone in the country following last year’s launch of the TECNO Spark 6 series and TECNO Spark 5 series.
Last year saw the company launch the TECNO Pova, TECNO Camon 16s, and the TECNO Pouvoir 4 in its budget lineup.
TECNO Spark 7P will rock a waterdrop notch instead of a punch-hole display. The 6.8″ display will also feature a 90Hz refresh rate.
The punch-hole cutout will have the 8MP selfie camera.
The textured back will sport a 16MP triple rear camera setup with a rear fingerprint sensor.
New Camera features will be included too such as Video Bokeh and Time-lapse videos on both the selfie camera and main camera. Other Camera features include Smile Snapshot, Super Night Mode, Night Portrait, and slow motion(240fps)
Another upgrade we’re expecting to see is a 5000mAh battery and a Type-C charging port(probably). Other ports include a microphone and headphone jack.
Speaker grille is missing on the TECNO Spark 7P.
So we expect the earpiece sitting at the top of the notch to serve as the speaker too.
TECNO Spark 7P will run on Helio G70 chipset, 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage.
TECNO Spark 7P ships with Android 11 and HiOS 7.5 straight out of the box like the upcoming TECNO Camon 17.
In terms of colours, the TECNO Spark 7P will come in Summer Mojito(I’m already loving it – see image at the top), Spruce Green, Alps Blue and Magnet Black.
This is an ongoing story. Please refresh for new updates.
