Spotify is rearranging its app in a new interface redesign. The streaming giant is testing a new interface for its Now Playing interface.

In the new interface, the play controls are minimized with the pause, next and previous locate in the left corner and the up next section taking the bottom row. The shuffle and the repeat button are located in the bottom right.

In some songs, the song art takes centre stage and in others, it’s taken to the bottom left as seen above.

The top left gets the two prominent buttons displaying the Playing and the Lyrics. In the old interface, the lyrics are located at the bottom of the song.

With this change, the lyrics get centre stage for when you want to sing along to your favourite song.

I’m loving it so far.

The change is rolling out to some users – let me know if you have the new interface.
