Zoho has today opened up a physical office in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi.
The enterprise resource planning software company has unveiled a new office in Westlands to meet its client’s needs. This will be the company’s first office in Kenya and seventh in the Middle East and Africa region.
The office also features an up-to-date training center for Zoho’s associates and clients. This is a customer-facing training center that has a local support team.
To consolidate its local presence in the country, Zoho also announced a partnership with the Institute for Small Business Initiatives (ISBI), which is part of Strathmore Business School (SBS).
Speaking during the launch, Veerakumar Natarajan, Country Head – Kenya, Zoho Corp said that having a local office in the country will improve the company’s management capabilities and enable them(Zoho) to cater to the specific needs of large organizations.
Zoho One is the company’s top seller in the MEA region followed by Zoho Books and Zoho CRM. In Kenya, Zoho One is the top-selling product followed by Zoho WorkPlace and Zoho CRM.
It’s worth noting that Kenya is the second fastest-growing market in Africa for Zoho and they aim to meet the evolving needs of mid-market and enterprise customers in this region.
Their products serve various business categories including sales and marketing, customer services, email and collaboration, business intelligence, finance, human resources, and custom solutions.
The SAAS company has clients ranging from real estate businesses like VAAL and Optiven to insurance companies like ICEA Lion and APA to hospitality companies like Hotel Online and PTG Travel.
The company’s aim with its partnership with Institute for Small Business Initiatives(ISBI) is to offer digitization tools to empower SMEs with their enterprise technology.
Training over 1000 SMEs to be profitable and professional, ISBI has learned that manual record keeping has been a huge gap and their partnership with Zoho will be beneficial to all the SMEs that are or have ever been associated with ISBI. Zoho is granting these SMEs access to Zoho One plus additional tech support and training.
