Vivo V29 5G Specifications and Price in Kenya

Vivo V29 5G Kenya

Vivo V29 5G is the newest device in the country. This is the company’s midrange smartphone in the V series and rounds Vivo’s two-year release of its mid-tier devices in Kenya.

The biggest feature besides the new Aura light is the screen which is a 3D curved 6.78-inch curved OLED screen rocking 1.5K resolution(1260x2800px).

It has 120Hz refresh rate, 1000 nits peak brightness and 453 ppi pixel density.

For content, the screen is HDR10+ certified with support for WideVine L1 DRM.

The curved screen meets the curved back.

The back opts for various colours as Vivo V29 5G goes for glitter and shimmer backs.

The phone has IP68 water and dust resistance.

Inside the Vivo V29 5G is the Snapdragon 778 5G chipset paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. You get get up to 8GB of virtual RAM too. Android 13 and FunTouchOS 13 come baked inside. The phone is set to get two years of major OS updates and three years of security updates.

For cameras, the phone has a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth camera. We also have a 50MP front-facing camera.

Vivo V29 5G Cameras

The Aura Light feature now comes with Smart Color Temperature Adjustment that brightens faces when taking lowlight portrait shots.

There are two new modes to play around with such as Astro Mode and Super Moon Mode.

Video recording is capped at 4K 30fps for the main cameras and 1080p for the front camera.

Vivo V29 has a 4600mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging. 40 minutes will juice it up from empty to 92%.
