Vivo‘s latest midrange device, the Vivo V40 is finally available for retail in Kenya after its launch today. Following up on the success of the V30, the V40 is set to offer users some impressive specifications including a huge battery.

The V40 sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen loaded with Android 14 from the box and up to 4500nits peak brightness. Under the chassis is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor paired with Adreno 720 GPU and 12GB of RAM. The phone comes in 12GB and 8GB RAM options with internal storage options of 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. The phone also boasts IP68 water and dust resistance.
At the back lies a dual-camera module that consists of a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide lens while the display carries a 50MP front-facing camera. All this is powered up by a 5,500mAh battery pack that also features 80W fast charging and reverse wired charging.
The phone is set to retail at KES 64,999 although it is still unclear which variants will be launched for the Kenyan market.
