Xiaomi-owned Chinese smartphone brand POCO has finally returned to the Kenyan market with the launch of its two latest smartphones, POCO C75 and POCO M6 Pro.
POCO M6 Pro
The POCO M6 Pro would be rightfully described as the more prestigious of the pair mostly based on its set of specs and the retail price.
The M6 Pro features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 2160 touch sampling rate for responsive controls during gameplay. This is powered by a Helio G99-Ultra processor with a 6nm TSMC (AI and machine learning) process. The chipset is paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
At the back lies a triple camera module with a 64MP main lens with first-in-series OIS, an 8MP wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. According to POCO, the module features dual OIS + EIS that ensures your videos and images are stabilised in real-time so you get distorted shots or shaky footage.
A 5000mAh battery is placed under the chassis with 67W charging support which means you get to juice up the device to 100% in less than 45 minutes.
POCO C75
The C75, on the other hand, comes with some surprisingly impressive specs for a device of its price kicking off with a 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and TÜV Rheinland-certified Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free technology ensure eye comfort even during extended use.
It is powered by a Helio G81 Ultra chipset supported by up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The rear camera setup is headlined by a 50MP main shooter while the selfie camera comes at a mere 13MP.
As for the battery pack, you get 5160mAh with 18W charging support. According to POCO, the C75 model is now available in three colour options, black, gold and green exclusively on Jumia at these configurations:
- 4GB + 128GB: KES 13799
- 6GB + 128GB: KES 15,599
- 8GB + 256GB: KES 16,999
