Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has announced that it will launch its latest smartphone, the Vivo V40 Lite, on November 11, 2024. The device is set to be a more affordable addition to the Vivo V40 lineup that was launched a couple of weeks ago in the country.
As we’ve seen with previous Vivo lineups, this device will likely be a more watered-down version of its bigger sibling. But that’s not to say it won’t give customers the value they need from a daily driver.
The Vivo V40 Lite comes with a vibrant 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits of peak brightness. The screen is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor with Adreno 710 GPU. This is paired with 8GB of RAM that can be expanded by an extra 8GB as well.
At the back lies a triple camera setup headlined by a 50MP main shooter with an 8MP wide lens and a 2MP macro camera. Like the V40, this model also brings a ring LED flashlight which you might consider as a plus. The display houses a 32MP selfie camera with up to 1080p of video capture.
The smartphone also features a 5500mAh battery pack with 44W wired charging support. As for pricing, we can only wait till the launch date to know how much it will cost once it hits the shelves in Kenya.
