Samsung have another off their sleeves. And that is the Samsung Galaxy Xcover, a first of its kind from the Samsung brand. 
The Xcover is built for those tough conditions, and wont budge even if you dropped it.
Previously, the Xcover range only had dumbphones, and Samsung moved a notch higher by introducing a 4 by 4 smartphone to complete the toughness. What we are not sure is the power capabilities of the phone. You know tough goes with endurance in all sides.
The Samsung galaxy xcover runs on android Gingerbread. The camera is a 3.2 megapixel with a led flash/flashlight. It has a 3.65 inch scratch resistant screen. Other features are wi-fi, GPS ans HSPDA of upto 7.2 Mbps. Its toughness goes as far as withstanding dust, accidental drops and can stay in one meter deep water for 30 mins.
Availability: Germany and Ukraine from October.
