At the start of the month, Infinix started seeding the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for one of its devices, the Infinix Note 2. Apparently the update’s rollout wasn’t all that smooth as it was plagued by complaints by users of being extremely buggy, something we also experienced on the Android One Infinix Hot 2 a month earlier.
Infinix caved in and yanked the update. So users who hadn’t upgraded yet were kind of left in a fix.
It looks like Infinix has things worked out already since the update, a whopping 800 megabytes, is available again.
We are not in a position to confirm if all the bugs are gone or if there are any noticeable differences. If you have the Infinix Note 2 and have gotten the update, sound off in the comments.
