The latest Android distribution figures from Google show that Android Nougat has made a few steps forward and is now installed in over 2% of all phones running Android, 2.8% to be exact. This number may seem really small but seeing that just two months ago, Nougat was running on just 0.9% of all Android devices, it feels like a step forward.
Last month, Nougat stood at 1.8% while Marshmallow grew to 30.7%. This month’s stats show that Marshmallow is at 31.3%, which isn’t surprising seeing that OEMs are still insisting on releasing devices running Marshmallow in 2017! *cough* Huawei GR5 (2017) *cough* Anyway, the star of the show is Nougat, since it’s what we are all looking forward to experiencing, if you haven’t yet joined th 2% category.
