In case you are wondering why I am referring to the GR3 (2017) as many-named, well, it also retails as Huawei P8 Lite (2017), Huawei P9 Lite (2017), Huawei Honor 8 Lite and Huawei Nova Lite. Yes, all those names for one phone.
Anyway, this isn’t a new per se, it has been around since January. The GR3 (2017) comes with a 5.2″ Full HD display covered with a 2.5D curved glass, a 12 MP large-pixels camera, Kirin 655 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB storage capacity which is expandable up to 128GB via micro SD card. Present as well is EMUI 5.0, which brings a lot of loveable software experience to Huawei devices.
Admittedly, the GR3 (2017) is one of the few good-looking devices you will find at this price range. Speaking of price, the recommended retail price for the GR3 (2017) is Ksh. 24,000.
A price I honestly cannot confidently justify considering the GR3 (2017) is in direct competition with devices such as the Infinix S2 Pro and the Tecno Camon CX, which come at a much lower price.
As you decide whether the P8 Lite (2017) / P9 Lite (2017) / Honor 8 Lite / Nova Lite / GR3 (2017) is worth your money, here’s the complete specs list:
