Telkom Kenya Opens Pre-Orders For the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Comes with 10GB Data

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was announced to a warm reception that saw the device break the company’s Pre-order records. Locally, Samsung announced that they had received over 200 pre-orders already within two weeks. Clearly, neither the Note 7’s fiasco nor the price of the device has deterred Note lovers from scooping one up.

Telkom Kenya has announced that you can now pre-order the Note 8 through its brand shops in Nairobi region; such as Mega, Extelcomms, Sarit centre, Galleria, Thika, Prestige, T-Mall, Telkom Plaza shop and in Coast region in the following brand shops; Mombasa, Nyali, Malindi and Diani Mall.

The Galaxy Note 8 comes with a 6.3-inch QHD Infinity display with minimal top and chin bezels that let you “see more and hold less”, 6GB RAM, 64GB internal memory that is expandable via MicroSD, Exynos 8895 SoC and IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.

The highlight of the phablet is the S-Pen that also comes with an IP68 certification and lets users capture quick notes even when the screen is off, create GIFs and even draw, thanks to its fine precision tip. The Note 8 also has 12MP dual cameras that offer 2x optical zoom.

The Pre-order is open until October 4, 2017, and it will cost you Ksh.104,999 to get the Note 8 which comes bundled with 10GB of free data from Telkom to enjoy on their 4G network.
