The much awaited Twitter’s-in-app podcast player is here.

The feature which was launched on August 25 aims to integrate podcasts into Twitter as a part of a new redesigned Spaces Tab.

Twitter’s spaces was designed with the purpose of aiding audio conversations on Twitter. Creators can now feature their podcast episodes which will allow listeners to simply hit play and go.

The new Spaces redesign aims to group audio content together by specific themes such as News, Music, Sports, and more. Twitter listeners will now have a range of choices of personalized selected live and recorded Spaces discussing the topics of their choosing.

Do you want to build a more customized podcast experience using the new Twitter Podcast feature? By giving a “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” to a podcast will enable the Twitter algorithm to know if the podcast content appeals to you.

It is estimated that people who use Twitter are also active listeners to podcasts every month. Twitter will aim to automatically suggest podcasts to help people discover new content.

The redesigned Spaces Tab, including the addition of podcasts, will be visible to a group of global English-speaking audience on iOS and Android.
