The latest Android version from Google is now rolling out to TECNO’s midrange lineup from last year. The Camon 19 series including the regular, the Pro and the Mondrian Edition has now been updated to Android 13 and HiOS 13.
TECNO already launched its latest Camon 20 series with Android 13 and HiOS 13 straight out of the box. It’s great that the company didn’t forget about the Camon 19 series that now runs on the latest software from TECNO and Google.
Android 13 comes with features like:

- QR code scanner in the quick settings toggle
- Android 13 will warn you of crooked apps that cause background battery drain
- UWB(Ultra-wideband) suppor.
- Full support for Bluetooth Low Energy(LE) audio
- A new look for the output picker and media player.
- Improved clipboard management
- Predictive back gestures
- 7-day view on the Privacy Dashboard
It’s worth noting that the Spark 10 series already ship with Android 13 powering them.
The company is yet to bring Android 13 to its flagship Phantom X2 series.
The Camon 19 series make for compelling packages and are a respectable continuation of what TECNO does best.
