The cameras get upgraded from the 48MP main of the Note 12 to the 108MP primary of the Note 13 series – both the 4G and 5G versions. the other two cameras are an 8MP ultrawide and A 2MP depth sensor. Video recording is capped at 1080p 30fps.

The selfie camera is a 16MP front-facing camera that records at 1080p 30fps as well.

Both units ship with 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

Colour options include Prism Gold, Ocean Teal, Graphite Black and Arctic White for the 4G version while the 5G version comes in Midnight Black, Ice Bue, Ocean Sunset and Mint Green.

Redmi Note 13 Pro

The Pro also gets nice features as well over its predecessor.

Redmi Note 13 Pro comes with IP54 ingress protection, a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 1800 nits peak brightness over its predecessor’s 900 nits. The resolution has been upped to 1220 by 2712 pixels over the 1080 by 2400 pixel of the Note 12 Pro.

It’s worth mentioning that the Note 13 Pro screen is 12-bit which means it supports 68B colours as opposed to the 10-bit screen of the Note 12 Pro that can show up to 1B colours.

The screen gets better protection as its sports Gorilla Glass Victus over Gorilla Glass 5 of the 12 Pro.

The Pro gets a new processor – the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 which is relatively powerful compared to the Dimensity 1080 chipset of its predecessors. RAM starts at 8GB going all the way to 16GB and storage starts at 128GB going all the way to 512GB. There’s no slot for an external microSD card.

It has Android 13 and MIU 14.

The selfie camera is a 16MP front-facing camera which can shoot 1080p video.

Battery capacity is increased from a 5000mAh battery to a 5100mAh battery with the same 67W fast charging.

Colour options include Arctic White, Midnight Black, Ocean Teal and Aurira Purple(Coral Purple)

Other features include stereo speakers and now an under-display fingerprint reader instead of the side-mounted fingerprint reader of the 12 Pro.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+

It has a glass back and an aluminium frame as well. It comes with an under-display fingerprint reader as opposed to a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

It gets better ingress protection rated at IP68 over IP53.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ comes with Dimensaity 7200 Ultra which is faster than the Dimensity 1080 from last year. RAM starts at 8GB going all the ay to 16GB with storage starting from 256GB up to 512GB which is UFS 3.1 over the UFS 2.2 of its predecessor.

It also booths Android 13 and MIU-14.

The camera setup stays the same with the 200MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro with video recording capped at 4K 24/30fps while selfies are taken care of by the 16MP front-facing camera that supports 1080p video recording,
