Infinix has officially unveiled the complete Hot 60 series lineup in Kenya, with the Hot 60 Pro+ stealing the spotlight. Its standout feature, the remarkably slim 5.95mm frame, makes it the world’s thinnest smartphone with a 3D-curved display.
The whole series includes three models: Hot 60 Pro+, Hot 60 Pro, and Hot 60i.
Design and Build
The Hot 60 Pro+ weighs 155 grams, which is 4.3% lighter than the previous generation while being 12.5% thinner. The phone uses a flat TitanGrid Architecture internally to maximize space efficiency.
Its back panel features an ultra-thin NanoFiber material that’s 20% thinner than standard solutions. An aerospace-grade aluminum frame provides structural support, while the 3D-curved display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
The phone comes in over 10 colors, with “Coral Tides” as the flagship option – a red-blue gradient design. There’s also a Scent Weave Leather edition with infused fragrance in four variants.
Its camera module appears to float above the back panel, creating a layered visual effect. Active Halo Lighting is also built around the camera system.
Display and Performance
The AMOLED screen runs at 144Hz refresh rate with 1.5K resolution and peaks at 4,500 nits brightness. The display includes an in-screen fingerprint reader and has ultra-thin 0.88mm bottom bezels.
Both the Pro+ and Pro models use the new MediaTek Helio G200 chipset. The Pro+ includes an 11-layer cooling system with 220mm² more graphite material than before, reducing chip temperatures by up to 5°C.
Camera and Battery
The main camera uses a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with full-pixel autofocus and 2x lossless zoom. AI RAW processing handles image enhancement and low-light performance.
All models pack a 5,160mAh battery with 45W fast charging. The Pro+ charges from 1% to 50% in 23 minutes and reaches full charge in 55 minutes. The battery maintains 80% health after 1,800 charge cycles.
Software and Features
The phones run XOS 15.1.1 with Folax AI assistant accessible through a dedicated button. AI features include portrait effects, image editing tools, and eye comfort modes for gaming and sleep.
The Hot 60 Pro+ supports Ultra Link Free Call – Bluetooth calling up to 1.5km range without cellular coverage. All models include NFC touch transfer for file sharing.
In addition to this, the Pro+ has IP65 dust and water resistance, while other models are IP64 rated. The Pro+ also includes JBL-certified dual stereo speakers.
Pricing and Availability
The Infinix Hot 60 series comes in a range of configurations to suit different budgets and needs. The lineup includes the Hot 60i with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage priced at KES 12,799, and an upgraded 8GB/256GB variant for KES 15,199.
The Hot 60 Pro (8GB/128GB) is available at KES 18,999, while the Hot 60 Pro+ is offered in two variants: 8GB/128GB for KES 21,999 and 8GB/256GB for KES 24,999.
Pre-orders for the series run from July 21 to 31, requiring a deposit of KES 3,000. As a bonus, customers who pre-order will receive a free Infinix XWATCH N4 Pro, valued at KES 5,500.
