Samsung has officially rolled out Microsoft Copilot AI to its 2025 lineup of smart TVs and monitors, turning the big screen into a truly interactive companion.
This integration is part of Samsung’s Vision AI platform, aimed at creating more intuitive, voice-driven experiences at home. The feature is available on Samsung’s latest Micro RGB, Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame Pro, The Frame, and M7, M8, and M9 smart monitors.
The global rollout began yesterday, with regional availability expanding gradually.
How to Access Copilot on Samsung TVs
Using Copilot on your TV or monitor is simple and natural:
- Speak a voice command into your Samsung remote.
- Press the AI/microphone button on the remote.
- Access it through the Tizen OS home screen, Samsung Daily+, or the Click to Search feature.
For a richer, personalized experience, you can sign in with your Microsoft account via QR code. This allows Copilot to tailor recommendations based on your preferences and viewing history.
On screen, Copilot appears as a friendly animated character that lip-syncs and reacts to your prompts, making interactions more human-like and engaging.
Standout Features
Copilot AI goes far beyond basic voice search. Some of the standout features include:
- Spoiler-free recaps: Get caught up on a show without revealing future plot points.
- Smart content recommendations
- Group-friendly picks: Balance different viewing preferences when watching with family or friends.
- Post-watch insights: Learn more about actors, directors, and background details.
- Everyday help: Ask about the weather, news summaries, or motivational quotes.
On monitors, Copilot also supports light productivity with quick email summaries, calendar previews, and document lookups.
This collaboration signals a shift in how we use our screens. Instead of browsing through menus, you can now talk naturally to your TV. For Samsung, it strengthens its AI ecosystem, building on features like SmartThings and Live Translate.
For Microsoft, it expands Copilot beyond PCs and productivity apps, placing it directly in the living room.
From spoiler-free show recaps to smart home controls and personalized suggestions, Copilot turns your TV into an intelligent assistant, bringing a new era of AI-driven entertainment and productivity right into your living room.
