Infinix has launched the GT 30 Pro in Kenya, positioning it as a serious gaming phone that can compete with the best of them. The phone launches at KES 39,999 and comes packed with features designed to attract mobile gamers who want both performance and visual flair.
Design and Display
The most notable feature is the Cyber Mecha 2.0 design system with customizable LED light panels covering the rear of the device. These LEDs react to phone activity, lighting up for incoming calls, showing charging status, and even responding to in-game events.
The Blade White version features white LED panels, while the Dark Flare variant offers full RGB lighting effects that can cycle through multiple colors.
Infinix has fitted the GT 30 Pro with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen delivers a 2,160Hz touch sampling rate, which translates to nearly instant response when tapping the display.
Peak brightness reaches 4,500 nits, making the screen readable even in bright sunlight. The display includes Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and certifications for reduced blue light emission and flicker-free viewing.
Hardware and Performance
The phone runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor built on a 4nm manufacturing process, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It also ships with Android 15 and Infinix’s XOS 15 interface.
Infinix has promised two years of major Android updates and three years of security patches.
Gaming performance gets additional support from the XBoost Gaming Engine and an AI-powered vapor cooling system with six thermal layers. The phone includes shoulder triggers that operate at 520Hz response rate, mimicking console gaming controls.

On top of that, the Infinix GT 30 Pro can achieve 120 fps on demanding games like PUBG and includes a dedicated e-sports mode for competitive mobile gaming.
Cameras and Battery Life
The camera system includes a 108 MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, supported by an 8 MP ultra-wide lens for broader shots. A 13 MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.
Its 5,500mAh battery supports 45W wired charging and 30W wireless charging. The phone also offers reverse charging capabilities at 10W wired and 5W wireless, allowing users to charge accessories like earbuds or smartwatches.
Additional Gaming Kit
Infinix has also included the GT Gaming Kit with purchase, containing a MagCase and cooling fan accessory for extended gaming sessions. The phone weighs 188 grams and measures just under 8mm thick, making it reasonably portable despite the gaming-focused hardware.
Availability and Pricing
The Infinix GT 30 Pro is available in Kenya for KES 39,999 during a launch period running from September 1 through September 30. The price covers the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration.
Buyers also receive a KES 2,000 cash-back voucher that can be redeemed after purchase, plus a free pair of Infinix GTBUDS3 earbuds.
