Influencers have become an integral part in marketing in this age of social media based advertising. They are known by their fans for being influential in a specific industry and that is why they can be attractive to advertisers and social networking sites benefit from this too.
In order to foster this engagement better on their platform, Facebook announced tools for the Creator Community.
Facebook Creator App
Facebook announced the Creator app which they described as a “one stop shop for creators of all kinds to help take their passions to the next level.” Features include:
- Live Creative Kit that includes tools that make it easy to create personalized live broadcasts.
- Community Tab where creators can connect with fans and collaborators with a unified inbox.
- Camera & Stories where you can use camera effects and frames that can be easily crossposted to other platforms. You will also be able to access Facebook Stories to engage with fans.
- Insights – Creators will get to see analytics about their Page, fans and videos.
They are first launching the Facebook Creator app globally on iOS and will be rolled out to Android users in the coming months. This is open to individuals on Pages or profiles and will be able to download it from the App Store.
New Website for Creators
Facebook also revealed a new website where creators can find tips on how to create great video, connect with fans and grown on Facebook.
The website will allow a creator to learn new skills and techniques to make content shine, find answers to common creator specific questions and join the community to be considered for early access to new features and tools.
