If you are wondering what kind of a company is vivo, then worry no more if you know OPPO and OnePlus. Their parent company is the same, namely BBK Electronics. It is a Chinese corporation that started its business by manufacturing DVD players. It has since expanded its portfolio to smartphones, of which its various R&D sections have pioneered several milestones in mobile phone telephony. For instance, vivo introduced in-screen fingerprint readers, is the first company to launch a super-thin, under 5 mm phone, and is the same company that started the pop-up camera craze. Quite a CV, right?
