OPPO is the famous Chinese manufacturer that is known for its phones. However for some time now, we have spotted leaks of its upcoming smartwatch.
Well now they have officially sent out a teaser to this upcoming smartwatch. Brian Shen, OPPO’s Vice President and President of Global Marketing tweeted a photo of this smartwatch and it looks stunning.

From this photo, you can see that the OPPO smartwatch bears an uncanny resemblance to the Apple Watch. The Apple Watch has a pretty cool design so it is not a bad thing to be inspired by.
The display looks dark which could mean that it might feature an OLED screen which have very deep blacks. It also has a watch complication with the OPPO logo which could be an option. Shen says it has a curved screen and 3D glass which look pretty much accurate from the photo. There is also a black strap and OPPO could offer more styles as per the industry standards.
We are still not sure about a number of things. It was rumoured to have an ECG (electrocardiogram) which checks the electrical activity of the heart, just like the Apple Watch. We are not sure if it will run pure Google’s Wear OS or WearOS overlaid with OPPO’s Color OS or a completely different OS. We also do not know its battery life or the casing material.
We will have to wait and see to get all those specs later on when OPPO formally launches the smartwatch.
