While Samsung was among the first companies to showcase the punch-hole cameras for the S10 series, the Note 10 series and the S11 series they are now taking a step back to work on a smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera.
Well, this isn’t their first try as they launched the A80 with a rotating triple camera in April of last year.
Samsung wants to follow the path of its Chinese smartphone rivals like the OPPO, vivo, TECNO and Infinix in adding a pop-up selfie camera to get that almost bezel-less design.
Leakster OnLeaks shared a photo on Twitter suggesting Samsung may be working on a mid-range smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera.
So… #Samsung is currently working on it's first pop-up selfie camera phone. Here comes your very first look at this yet unknown device!
As usual, 360° video + gorgeous 5K renders + display size + dimensions, on behalf of my Friends over @Pigtou_ -> https://t.co/HE8RBky9mf pic.twitter.com/vv8IveZ7SL

The image also shows a Type-C port, a headphone jack and a sizeable chin.
This could also be a concept phone design from when pop-up selfie cameras were on the hype train.
This bandwagon doesn’t look like its stopping as we’ve seen weird patents of side pop-up cameras from OPPO. Budget brands like TECNO also spot a pop-up selfie camera with the Camon 15.
