Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2020 is happening later this evening and it’s going to be a busy day for the Korean tech giant that is expected to unveil seven different products.

Update 1: Pre-orders for the Note 20 series open up next week in Kenya.

Update 2: Samsung Kenya will double the number of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 units in the country.

Update 3: Samsung is guaranteeing that the Note 20 series will “support three generations of Android updates” unlike its usual promise of two years of updates.

Update 4: Here are other Samsung Galaxy devices slated to get Android 11, Android 12 and Android 13.

Samsung is set to announce the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Tab S7+, Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Buds Live, and probably tease the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G.

They have been a lot of leaks online about these devices but watching them get announced live is just as exciting.

Unlike previous Unpacked events, this years version will be virtual due to concerns around coronavirus. The event will be live-streamed through Samsung’sonline channels.

It’s worth noting the liquid copper splash that hints what colours the device that will be announced later today will come in

You can watch them at  Samsung Global Newsroom, Samsung.com, and Samsung Global’s Facebook page.

The Galaxy Note 20 is rumoured to feature either Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and Exynos 990 processor, 5G support, 6.7″ full HD Super AMOLED display(1080 x 2400 pixel), 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage, triple camera setup that will have 12MPmain sensor, paired with 12MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 64MP shooter with 3x optical zoom. For selfie, you get a 10MP front-facing camera.

Powering the device is a 4300mAh battery.

Its ULtra version will pack either Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and Exynos 990 SoC options, 6.9″ curved edge Dyanmic AMOLED display with QHD= resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. For optics, you’ll get a 108MP primary sensor, 12MPl telephoto shooter and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle shooter.

Under the hood, you get 12GB of RAM,  Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) technology for fast file transfers.

Powering the device is a 4500mAh battery.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G will pack a  7.7″ Super AMOLED foldable display with 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.23″ Super AMOLED cover display.
