A new Samsung Galaxy A smartphone has started to surface online right after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72. The Samsung Galaxy A82 is set to be the apex smartphone in the A-series and here’s what we know so far.
Samsung Galaxy A82 features a 6.7′ Infinity-O Super AMOLED screen that will reportedly ship with 120Hz screen refresh rate and 800 nits brightness.
The centrally placed punch-hole cut out will host the 10MP selfie camera.
For the rear cameras, we have a triple rear setup that includes a 64MP main camera with OIS, 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP depth sensor.
The headphone jack misses out on the Samsung Galaxy A82. The sim slot is also located on the top part of the phone instead of the side.
Samsung Galaxy A82 comes with have Type-C charging port. A 4500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging is also inlcuded.
The Samsung Galaxy A82 will reportedly be powered by Snapdragon 855+ chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
Android 11 and One UI 3 will run the Samsung Galaxy A82.
Other features we are expecting to see on the Samsung Galaxy A82 is an IP67 rating, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and Dolby Atmos.
Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 are already available in the country and we might see a local launch of the Samsung Galaxy A82 somewhere in the near future. We’ve reached out to Samsung for comment and we’ll update you.
