“Lack of Consent” Lands TikToker Mizzy in Court

Mizzy a UK TikTok star is arrested and arraigned in court

A TikTok star, popularly known as Mizzy has appeared in court. Mizzy was charged with breaching a criminal behaviour order imposed for posting a “prank” video on social media without consent.

The 18-year-old’s real name is Bacari-Bronze O’Garro. He gave his residential address as Manor Road, Hackney. He was filmed recently as a plain clothes Police Officer detained him.

Following the incident, the Met released this statement: “On Friday, 26 May, officers arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of breach of a Criminal Behaviour Order. He has been taken into custody. Enquiries are ongoing.”

In the same week, a magistrate court had ordered Mizzy to cease Posting videos on social media without the consent of people featured in them. The order was given on Wednesday.

However, it is alleged that the TikTok star violated the order twice on Thursday and once on Friday.

First, O’Garro is accused of posting a video on social media without the consent of the people featured. Secondly, he is accused of as visiting Westfield Centre in Stratford, East London.

Visiting the area was a direct violation of the court order.

Lastly, O’Garro visited Hackney. Again, In Hackney, he is accused of posting a video on social media without the consent of the people featured.

Mizzy Must Obtain Documented Consent

Judge Crangle issued Mizzy with a two-year criminal behaviour order. Importantly, the order stated that the TikTok star must not directly or indirectly post videos on social media without the documented consent of the people featured in the content.

In addition, he must not trespass into private property and must not attend the Westfield Centre in Stratford, East London.

Furthermore, O’Garro was fined £200 by the court. He was further ordered to pay a fine of £85 for costs and a victim surcharge of £80.

Mizzy appeared at the Thames magistrates court on the morning of Saturday 27 May.

For now, Mizzy is remanded in custody until a further hearing on Tuesday.

  1. Now, many people just want to post any thing which they want on Tiktok but they don’t pay attention to its effects or its consequences. It’s so bad. I think we need some laws to prevent this.
