Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro was released on 26th September 2024. This smartphone comes with a lot of features.

Body design

Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro features a body with dimensions of 162.3 x 74.4 x 8.2 mm or 8.5 mm, providing a slim design. It weighs 190 grams (6.70 oz) making it lightweight. Also, it supports various SIM configurations, including Nano-SIM, eSIM, or Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). The device boasts IP68/IP69K certification, making it highly resistant to dust and water, capable of withstanding depths of up to 2 meters for 24 hours.

Display

The smartphone’s display is a stunning 6.67-inch AMOLED panel, offering vibrant visuals with 68 billion colors, a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. It has an impressive peak brightness of 3000 nits. Additionally, Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 pro boasts a 1220 x 2712 pixel resolution in a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and features an always-on display.

Network connectivity

Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro supports a wide range of network technologies, including GSM, CDMA, HSPA, CDMA2000, LTE, and 5G. It offers 2G connectivity via GSM 850, 900, 1800, and 1900 bands for both SIM 1 and SIM 2, along with CDMA 800. For ultra-fast speeds, it supports 5G bands 1, 3, 5, 8, 28, 38, 41, 77, and 78 with both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes. The device delivers high-speed data performance with HSPA, LTE, and 5G connectivity options.

Platform

The device operates on Android 14 with the promise of up to 3 major Android upgrades, enhanced by the HyperOS interface. Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro is powered by the advanced MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset, built on a 4nm process. The octa-core CPU consists of four high-performance 2.5 GHz Cortex-A78 cores and four power-efficient 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores. Moreover, the device features a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, delivering excellent visuals for gaming and media playback.

Memory

Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro offers ample internal storage options, though it does not include a card slot for expandable memory. The available configurations include 128GB with 8GB of RAM, 256GB with 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and a higher-end option of 512GB with 12GB of RAM.

Camera

Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro main camera features a 50 MP main sensor with an f/1.5 aperture, a 1/1.96″ sensor size, 0.8µm pixel size, PDAF, and OIS for sharp and stable images. Accompanying it is an 8 MP ultrawide camera with a 120˚ field of view, an f/2.2 aperture, 1/4.0″ sensor size, and 1.12µm pixels for expansive shots. Additionally, the camera system supports 4K video recording at 24/30fps, and 1080p at 30/60/120fps.

For selfies, the device supports a 20 MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 1/4.0″ sensor, offering HDR and panorama features. It can also record videos in 1080p at 30/60fps for clear and vibrant content.

Communication Features

The smartphone comes with a range of communication features to keep you connected. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6 with dual-band capability. For positioning and navigation, the device, includes GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, and QZSS, ensuring accurate and fast location tracking. Additionally, Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 features NFC for contactless payments and also an infrared port for remote control functions.

Other features

Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro is equipped with an under-display optical fingerprint sensor. It also features a variety of other sensors including an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, and an ultrasonic proximity sensor. Powered by a robust 5500 mAh non-removable battery, it supports 45W wired charging with Power Delivery 3.0 for quick and efficient charging.

Available in stylish colors like Black, White, Purple, and Green, this device offers a premium look. Priced at around 180 EUR, it provides excellent value for its range of features.
