Dell Technologies, the American multinational technology company, has completely rebranded all of its personal computers and laptops to adopt a more simplified naming scheme. Going forward, new Dell devices will feature a lineup of Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max. The tiers for each will be Base (entry-level), Plus (mid-range), and Premium (highest level).
For those who are familiar with the Dell brands, this new scheme means they will no longer have the models XPS, Inspiron, Vostro, Latitude, Precision, and OptiPlex.
The American brand is only putting an end to its normal lineup. Its Dell Alienware brand, designed for gaming, high performance and intelligent engineering, remains. This brand is also known for its alien-themed designs.
On the same night, Dell and chipmaker AMD announced a collaboration to bring to its users a new generation of commercial PCs powered by the AMD Ryzen AI PRO processors. The two tech companies claim this processor offers exceptional battery life, powerful on-device AI, Copilot+ experiences, and dependable productivity. AMD states that it’s built to handle normal workflows and the demanding environment of AI.
The new lineup by Dell will be powered by these AMD processors.

The Max series has the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 as the top of the series. Second in the lineup is the AMD RyzenTM AI 390, and the last is the AMD RyzenTM AI 385.
