Infinix is preparing to launch the Note Edge, a mid-range phone that prioritizes battery life over the industry’s obsession with thin designs.
The device allegedly features a 6,500mAh battery, which is significantly larger than typical mid-range phones, promising multiple days of use between charges.
According to an X post from tech reviewer Paras Guglani, the Note Edge will debut the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, an unannounced 5G processor built on a 6nm process.

This chip focuses on thermal efficiency to manage the large battery without overheating issues. The phone also includes a 1.5K resolution 3D curved AMOLED display, offering higher pixel density than the standard 1080p screens common in this price range.
Infinix is also reportedly making a notable commitment to software support with 3 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches, a first for the brand. The phone will ship with Android 16 at launch.
The design features a Forest Green finish with a horizontal camera module housing dual sensors, an LED flash, and a filler light for improved low-light video performance. The curved display wraps around the device’s edges, giving it that desired premium appearance.
The Note Edge has appeared on Indonesia’s SDPPI certification site and is expected to launch globally in January 2026. It will likely launch alongside the Note 60 and Note 60 Pro.
