Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have today raided two premises in Kajiado County alleged to be hubs for the production of explicit content.
In the first operation, the police raided a house in the Rimpa area of Ongata Rongai following tips from members of the public, recovering 30 women aged between 19 and 27.
A search of the premises yielded seven laptops fitted with cameras, along with other equipment investigators believe was used to produce the explicit content.
Suspects arrested during the raid are being held at Ongata Rongai Police Station pending arraignment, as investigations continue.
Kiserian was the site for the second operation, as DCI had been informed that young women were being recruited under the pretext of domestic employment before being coerced into prostitution and sexual exploitation.

Officers from Kiserian and Rongai police stations jointly rescued 18 women in the operation. Mobile phones, laptops, and other items suspected to have been used in the offenses were recovered as exhibits.
The DCI said the main suspect in the case remains at large, and detectives are pursuing leads toward an arrest. In total, 48 women were rescued in the two separate raids.
“Arrangements are being made to provide the rescued women with safe, appropriate shelter and comprehensive holistic support services, including psychosocial counseling and medical care, to ensure their safety, dignity, and successful reintegration,” DCI stated in a notice.
