OPPO has officially unveiled its latest midrange smartphone lineup – the Reno11 series which includes the base model and the Pro model – and they’re both 5G powered.
The two succeed the Reno 10 series from last year including the Pro version.
One noticeable design change is the new lens alignment for the main cameras housed in the distinctive pill-shaped camera island.
OPPO upgraded the primary camera for the Reno11 from a 64MP camera lens to a 50MP that has OIS – which is nice to have. This is the same camera that was in the Reno10 Pro from last year but now gets trickled down to the base model of the Reno11.

The other complementary lenses are still standard from the Reno10 series – a 32MP portrait telephoto with 2X optical zoom and an 8MP ultrawide.
For selfies, we get the same 32MP front-facing camera housed in the punch-hole cutout in the centre of the screen.
For video recording, all the cameras shoot 4K 30fps video.
We get the same processor as last year – the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage with UFS 2.2 for the base Reno11 and UFS 3.1 for the Pro version.
They ship with the latest software from Google and OPPO – Android 14 and ColorOS 14 respectively.
ColorOS come with features such as File Dock, Smart Touch, Smart Image Matting, LinkBoost, Trinity Engine, ROM, CPU and ROM Vitalization which ensures fast and smooth performance.
Reno11 Pro come with a more powerful MediaTek 8200 processor compared to the Snapdragon 778G chipset found in the Reno10 Pro. You also get 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Both Reno11 smartphones come with a 10-bit 6.7″ AMOLED curved screen sporting a 120Hz refresh rate, 950 nits brightness, HDR10+ support and 100%+ sRGB/DCI-P3 wide colour gamut.
