WhatsApp Status has been getting a slew of features this month and now there’s a new one copied from Instagram stories that’s now available on the messaging app.

Meta is now porting some features from Instagram Stories to WhatsApp Status.
The first feature is the ability to tag contacts when sharing status updates on the app just as you can on Instagram Stories or Facebook Stories.
